Daisen Town Tourist Information Center is situated at the start of the path that leads to Daisenji Temple and the hiking trail up Mount Daisen. It is on the first floor of the Komorebito Building and is a recently renovated facility that offers local food and beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The friendly English-speaking staff are ready to help you plan hikes and find places to visit. The center offers reasonably priced hiking equipment rentals.
The center has power sockets and WiFi, so you can check your messages and upload your photos while charging your phones and cameras. At the Sunset Cafe on the second floor of the Komorebito Building, enjoy views of the Sea of Japan from the cafe's large windows and viewing deck. The cafe's house special is a generously sized hamburger made from local ingredients.
