Education center to learn about the world's precious coral reefs

The Sango Yuntakukan Visitor Center focuses on coral reefs and displays in-depth information about the amazing habitats of coral reefs. The information desk is located adjacent to the Akajima Port Ferry Terminal, providing information about Akajima Island and several other islands in Keramashoto National Park.

The purpose of the information center is to educate people about coral reefs and their amazing properties, as well as the need to protect coral reef ecosystems. Learn all about coral reefs through multilingual exhibits, video and photo exhibits.

Outside the center, you can enjoy the wonderful blue color of the sea of ​​the Kerama Islands, which is nicknamed 'Kerama Blue' from the rain-free terrace outside the center.
