فندق بارك طوكيو パークホテル東京
Living with art
The Park Hotel Tokyo is a fine example of a successful four-star hotel. Located on the top floors of a Shiodome skyscraper, it has a friendly bilingual staff, an expansive lobby, several restaurants, and even a small spa. The majority of the 273 rooms have a clean, modern appearance and are fully stocked with everything a traveler might need or want. And then there are the Art Rooms. 30 of them to be precise, each one hand-painted by Japanese artists given free reign to express themselves across the four walls, and the results are spectacular.
In addition to the Art Rooms, the hotel also selects different artists to show their work in the lobby, the gallery, and along the corridors of the 31st floor, with new shows every couple of months. All in all, this seemingly standard hotel is in fact one of the city's greatest champions of living artists, a fact well noted and appreciated by many of their guests.
