Stunning cherry blossom views beautiful both day and night
Boasting a wide array of cherry blossom viewing locations, Nagatoro in Saitama Prefecture is on the list of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots. Various types of cherry blossoms bloom all over the town between late March and late April. During this period, the blooming trees will be lit up from sunset until 9 p.m., making unique and beautiful views that are different from what they look like in the daytime. On the Kita Sakuradori street, a 2.5-kilometer tunnel of the pink blossoms will welcome you from the beginning to the middle of April.
The Torinuke no Sakura will bloom later than any other location in the area, peaking in the last half of the month.
