Nagano | Kumeya Inn in Nagano

Staying at the Waki-Honjin “Kumeya”, experience the way of travel of the feudal lords in Edo era.
Waki-Honjin “Kumeya” is the inn along the old main road “Hokkoku highway” which accommodated various feudal lords back in the Edo Era.  Retaining tradition and formality, “Kumeya” is renovated to fit the needs of travelers today. You can also visit the old Komoro Post Town area and Komoro Castle to feel the nostalgic ambiance of Japan while riding a rickshaw or participating in a tea ceremony.
Access to Komoro: 1 hour 30 minutes from Tokyo by “Hokuriku-Shinkansen”, or 30 minutes from Karuizawa by “Shinano-rail way”.
