Le Lotus Bleu ル・ロチュス・ブルー
A tropical escape
The Okinawan islands extend for hundreds of miles, ending with the cluster closest to Taiwan known as the Yaeyama Islands . Of the nine islands in the group, Ishigaki Island is the most popular and home to a number of accommodations. One of the most beloved is Le Lotus Bleu, composed of a large house and several individual rooms, all of which can be rented out for minimum stays of one week, the amount of time the owners believe is necessary to truly appreciate all the island has to offer.
The large house was originally built over 100 years ago far away in central Honshu, Japan's main island, and then dismantled and shipped to Ishigaki where it was reconstructed down to the last detail. With its open spaces, sliding doors, dark wood, and inviting atmosphere, it is ideal for large families or groups. Visitors can enjoy hiking, snorkeling, diving, and much more just outside the door.
