A guided tour of Mount Gassan's alpine flowers in full bloom

Midagahara Marsh, high on a plateau of Mount Gassan, blooms with an abundance of seasonal alpine flowers. Walk a gentle 2-kilometer circuit along the marsh’s boardwalk accompanied by a local guide. Enjoy the variety of beautiful flower species that cover the marsh and learn about the ancient history of this sacred mountain.

Duration 1.5 hours
Cost Adults (age 18 and over). Guide fee: 10,000 yen per guide. 4 to 20 people can be accommodated per guide. An additional guide will be added for every 20 people.
