Savor a local gourmet meal under the stars in your own private tent

Dine under the open night sky surrounded by the forests of Chubusanaku National Park. Your concierge will drive you to the “dining room,” a cozy tent with a wooden star-viewing platform. The menu, prepared by a private chef, reflects the mountains' bounty, featuring local Shinshu beef and wasabi, as well as seasonal vegetables grown on farms around the park. Local drinks accompany each course, including beer made with hops that grow in the area, wine from Nagano prefecture, and jizake, sake made from local rice. After dinner, retire to the viewing deck and watch the stars come out as the daylight fades. You can see the Milky Way with the naked eye on most nights.
