Family fun with excellent views
Visit Kirishima Shinwa-no-Sato Park to learn more about Japan’s enduring creation myths and let off steam in the outdoor play area. From the park's observatory, you can see impressive views of Mount Sakurajima, Mount Kaimon and Kinkowan Bay.
Head outside and enjoy the super slider, a long slide that also offers an incredible view. Once you reach the bottom, quickly get to the top again via the chair lift. If you are visiting between mid-July and late August, sign up for the blueberry picking activity, and enjoy harvesting and eating fresh organic blueberries.
