Travel on a sightseeing bus route carved through 10-meter-high walls of snow

Take a bus tour along a scenic mountain route carved through walls of snow that can be up to 10 meters high. This special bus only runs during the spring and travels along the Norikura Echo Line, which is closed to ordinary traffic at this time of year. Take in views of Mount Norikura and when you reach the top, enjoy late-season skiing, go for a snowshoe trek, or play in the snow. In late April the bus runs to Kuraigahara Sanso, a historical mountain lodge in the Norikura Kogen backcountry. In late May it runs to the snow field of Daisekkei Katanokoyaguchi, depending on the snow conditions.
