The futuristic champagne-gold Train Suite Shiki-shima is breathtaking. The Komorebi lounge's windows recreate the effect of light passing through tree branches, while a piano bar and elegant decor complete this cozy space. The adjoining Shiki-shima dining car has a rotating roster of top chefs who utilize ingredients from the surrounding farms, woodland, sake breweries and the ocean of eastern Japan.

At both ends of the train, there is an observation lounge with wraparound windows, inviting in the surrounding beauty. At night, retire to your two-story suite with a specially built cypress tub to soak in as the train speeds through the darkness.
