Accommodations
A villa of your own, deep in the Hokkaido woods

Zaborin Ryokan

Zaborin is a luxury ryokan hidden in the Hanazono woods in Hokkaido, part of the Niseko ski area. Subtle, contemporary architecture and interiors compliment the peace and harmony of the surrounding nature. The 15 separate villas give greater privacy than standard rooms. Each one showcases natural materials and finishings from the Hokkaido region, as well as the luxury of its own private indoor and open-air hot spring baths. The main lodge has log burning fireplaces, a tea room, and a bar in which to warm up.

Zaborin also hosts talented chef Yoshihiro Seno, who sources Hokkaido abundance and serves up delicate, thoughtful Japanese menus. Original Hokkaido fine dining, the privacy of a hidden retreat, the nourishing spring waters of the onsen, and surrounding beauty of Hokkaido make the appeal of Zaborin easy to see.
