Ura-bandai is a popular highland resort spread across the northern side of Mt. Bandai, and is known for its gorgeous scenery and the Goshikinuma Ponds, a group of 30 beautiful, small and large lakes that boast shimmering colors. This winter hiking tour is a snowshoe trekking course that spans a distance of 4 kilometers so you can fully appreciate the beauty of the Goshikinuma Ponds surrounded by snow. You can rent winter gear like snow boots, gloves, knit caps, and snowshoes of the latest models for free. Over the course of 2 hours, enjoy some powdered snow with maple syrup, a favorite local sweet, while the guide explains about the area and its resident wild animals.
