About Kansai・San’in

The Kansai region, located in the mid-western part of Japan, is well known for its historical temples, shrines, and cultural facilities, partly due to the fact that Kyoto had been the capital for over a thousand years. In fact, there is still a lot of rich nature, and you can trek and admire breathtaking views, or enjoy the breeze by cycling or driving. The Kumano Kodo in Wakayama Prefecture, where sacred forests remain untouched, and Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture are where you can enjoy seasonal flowers and plants such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. These places are blessed with rich and natural beauty - and you can enjoy the amazing sceneries of the four seasons and feel the spirit of the place to the fullest.
