Experience pearl harvesting on the island where pearl farming was first successfully achieved in the world.

Pearl cultivation was pioneered by Kokichi Mikimoto on Mikimoto Pearl Island in 1893, and on this island, you can explore facilities and activities such as visiting the Pearl Museum and watching traditional ama diving demonstrations. This special program offers private tours guided by staff, including access to exclusive exhibits not open to the general public, pearl harvesting experiences, and a chance to board a boat with Ama divers and watch them dive up close.
