Response Actions

When Emergency Safety Measures (Alert Level 5) are issued, immediately secure your safety from imminent danger. 
If evacuation Instruction (Alert Level 4) or lower are issued, immediately evacuate from any dangerous area. Do not wait for Emergency Measures(alert level5) to be issued, as the local municipal authority may not be able to issue Emergency Measures (Alert Level 5) due to a disaster occurring.
And obtain the latest information, including evacuation information, via TV, radio, the Internet, the local government’s website, or other sources.
If you are from abroad, observe the actions of Japanese people around you and evacuate to a safe place as early as possible.
