Glamorous Fuji Climbing

Scale Japan's most famous mountain in style

Mount Fuji looms large both in Japan’s landscape and its cultural imagination. Hoshinoya Fuji, Japan’s first glamping resort, presents Glamorous Fuji Climbing, a luxury climbing experience that will add a shine to your journey to and from the summit.
If you decide to stay the night before your climb, you’ll enjoy a dinner of regional delicacies designed to energize your body. With your guide, you’ll also make energy bars with locally sourced ingredients to keep a spring in your step while you climb.
After setting off at about noon from Mt. Fuji’s Fifth Station, you’ll climb to a mountain lodge and arrive at sunset. Never mind cramped public accommodation and packed lunches: here, you’ll enjoy a hearty beef stew and wine before retiring to your private room.
Wake up at dawn to enjoy the famous sunrise in comfort, then head up to the summit, skipping the usual pre-dawn crowds. After some time to admire the view, you’ll return to the Fifth Station.
If you decide to stay the night after your trip, you’ll enjoy a special foot treatment in your cabin to refresh your feet after the long descent.
Whichever option you choose, you can look forward to a comfortable and rewarding climb of Japan’s holiest mountain.
