The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “A Japan For You” Contest (the “Contest”) organized by Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Kuala Lumpur Office (the “Organizer”) and managed by the officially appointed agency, Clozette Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (the “Secretariat”), conducted through the Organizer’s corporate website (https://www.japan.travel/en/my/), the Instagram page of the Organizer’s corporate brand, Visit MY Japan (@visitmyjapan), and the Facebook page of the Organizer’s corporate brand, Visit MY Japan (@Visit.My.Japan).
By submitting an entry to the Contest, Participants (as hereinafter defined) agrees and acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions. The Organizer reserves the right to make any amendments, additions, replacements and modifications to the Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
CONTEST OVERVIEW
The Contest comprises three (3) Read & Win Contests and one (1) Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge conducted as part of the “A Japan For You” online campaign, hosted on the official campaign webpage at https://www.japan.travel/en/my/a-japan-for-you.

Read & Win Contests
Each Read & Win Contest will feature an itinerary article from one of three regions of Japan – Kyushu, Chugoku and Shikoku. Participants are required to read the itinerary article, identify three (3) hidden gems (such as foods, places, or experiences) marked with ❖ Hidden Gem within the article, and submit their answers via the designated Google Form provided on the campaign page or itinerary article.
At the end of each Read & Win Contest period, eligible entries with all three (3) correct answers will be entered into a random draw to determine the winners.
Note: Upon submitting their Read & Win Contest entry, participants will receive a Bonus Keyword (e.g., “Ramen”) related to the respective Read & Win Contest. Participants are encouraged to take note of this keyword, as it can be used in the final Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge to increase their chances of winning.
Read & Win Prizes
Three (3) winners will be selected for each Read & Win Contest prize as follows: ● Prizes for first Read & Win Contest (Kyushu itinerary article): - 1 winner of an Omakase dinner for two (worth over RM750) at Sushi Mew KL - 2 winners of a Have Fun in Kitakyushu City & Shimonoseki City Pass + Kumamon souvenir set ● Prizes for second Read & Win Contest (Chugoku itinerary article): - 1 winner of an Onsen Spa experience for two (total prize worth over RM590) at 38 Onsen Spa KL - 2 winners of a Have Fun in Tottori Pass + Chugoku souvenir set ● Prizes for third Read & Win Contest (Shikoku itinerary article): - 2 winners of a Wagashi (Japanese Sweets) workshop for two at Yuwagashi (total prize worth over RM560) - 2 winners of a Have Fun in Kagawa Pass + Tokushima Indigo-Dyed gift (Images of prizes in promotional materials are for illustration. The actual prize may include additional items or differ slightly in composition.)
Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge
To qualify for the Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge, participants must complete and submit the Word Puzzle Challenge Google Form during the challenge period. Each participant who submits the puzzle with all correct answers will earn one (1) chance in the Grand Prize Draw.
Participants can increase their chances by including the Bonus Keywords obtained from the three (3) Read & Win Contests in their puzzle submission form. For every valid Bonus Keyword provided, participants will receive one (1) additional chance in the Grand Prize Draw – giving a maximum of four (4) chances in total (one from solving the puzzle and up to three from Bonus Keywords).
At the end of the campaign period, nine (9) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received for the Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge.
Winners will be selected via a random draw and announced during a live session on the Organizer’s official Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/visitmyjapan/). Details of the session, including the date and time, will be shared on the campaign webpage and social media platforms.
Final Grand Draw Prizes
● Grand Prize (1 winner) - A pair of return economy-class flight tickets to Japan ● 2nd Prize (3 winners) - Have Fun in Kansai Premium Pass (includes Universal Studios Japan) ● Consolation Prize (5 winners) - ANA gift set + JNTO 2026 calendar (Images of prizes in promotional materials are for illustration. The actual prize may include additional items or differ slightly in composition.)
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens aged eighteen (18) years and above who are currently residing in Malaysia (“Participants”).
Employees of the Organizer and the Secretariat, including their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children), are not eligible to participate. Staff of partner travel agencies and appointed content creators are also not eligible. Any Participant found to have affiliations with the aforementioned parties will be disqualified immediately.
Instagram Handle Requirements
All Participants are required to provide a valid and public Instagram handle and link when submitting their contest entry. The Instagram handle will serve as the Participant’s unique identifier for verification purposes throughout the Contest.
The Instagram account must be created prior to the Contest start date, and contain genuine, publicly visible content (such as posts, stories, or reels). Accounts that are private, newly created, empty, or appear to be fake or inactive will not be accepted.
Multiple Entries
Participants may submit more than one (1) entry for the Read & Win Contests, as long as each entry is made using a unique and valid Instagram account that meets the Instagram Handle Requirements stated above.

If multiple entries are submitted using the same Instagram account, only the earliest entry will be accepted. All subsequent entries from the same account will be disqualified as duplicates.
Any entries made using duplicate, fake or otherwise ineligible Instagram accounts will be disqualified.
Identification and Residency Requirements
Shortlisted winners are required to provide personal information to facilitate prize verification, reservation, and delivery. This may include a copy of their MyKad, a recent utility bill as proof of residency, contact number, and delivery address. Failure to provide the required information within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
Right to Disqualify
The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants and to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or that is suspected to involve fraud, misconduct, or manipulation
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
For each Read & Win Contest, winners will be announced within seven (7) days after the contest period ends on the Organizer’s official Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/visitmyjapan/).
It is the responsibility of the winners to contact the Organizer via Instagram Direct Message (DM) within seven (7) days from the date of the announcement. Winners will be required to provide the necessary personal information for verification and prize fulfilment, in accordance with the Identification and Residency Requirements stated above.
If a winner fails to contact the Organizer within the stipulated period, the prize will be deemed forfeited and may be rolled over to the Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge. The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entries that do not meet the contest requirements.
For the Grand Prize Puzzle Challenge, winners will be announced within fourteen (14) days after the end of the challenge period on the Organizer’s official Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/visitmyjapan/).
It is the responsibility of the winners to contact the Organizer via Instagram Direct Message (DM) within seven (7) days from the date of the announcement. Winners will be required to provide the necessary personal information for verification and prize fulfilment, in accordance with the Identification and Residency Requirements stated above.
If a winner fails to contact the Organizer within the stipulated period, the prize will be deemed forfeited and shall not be replaced or compensated in any form. The Organizer reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entries that do not meet the contest requirements.
PRIZE CONDITIONS FOR GRAND PRIZE – A PAIR OF FLIGHT TICKETS TO JAPAN
The following conditions apply to the Grand Prize, which consists of one (1) pair of economy-class flight tickets to Japan. The total value of the Grand Prize is up to RM9,000 (maximum RM4,500 per ticket), inclusive of fuel surcharges and applicable taxes. The actual value may vary depending on travel dates and route availability. Travel insurance is not included and must be arranged and paid for by the winner.
Should the total value of the two (2) tickets exceed RM9,000 for the selected travel dates, the winner may either: (a) select alternative travel dates with a total ticket value within the RM9,000 limit; or (b) top up the difference in cash directly to the airline.
The Grand Prize winner shall redeem and book their flight tickets through the Secretariat. The Secretariat’s contact details will be provided together with the official winner notification. It is the winner’s responsibility to contact the Secretariat to redeem and finalise the flight booking.
To facilitate flight booking, the winner will be required to provide personal details, including a valid passport copy, email address, and contact number.
The flight booking must be for direct flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to Tokyo (Haneda or Narita Airport).
The Grand Prize must be redeemed and booked by 28 February 2026, and the travel date must be set at least two (2) weeks after the booking date. All travel must be completed by 31 December 2026.
If the Grand Prize is not redeemed and booked by 28 February 2026, it will be deemed forfeited with no extensions granted. The Organizer reserves the right to select and notify an alternative Grand Prize winner if necessary.
The Grand Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-resellable, non-exchangeable for cash or other items, and non-extendable in validity. No refund or compensation will be provided for any partially used or unused portion of the prize. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of similar value without prior notice.
Travel Disclaimer
The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any changes, cancellations, delays, or other disruptions to the flight(s) awarded as part of the prize. The airline's terms and conditions apply, and any issues related to the flight must be resolved directly with the airline. The Organizer does not guarantee the availability or quality of any travel services and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by flight disruptions.
Unclaimed Prize
Any prize winner whose prize has been unclaimed/unredeemed within the validity period hereunder shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation.
PRIZE CONDITIONS FOR OTHER PRIZES
To facilitate prize verification, reservation, or delivery, winners may be required to provide personal information such as their full name, contact number, email address, and delivery details. Such information may be shared with the Organizer’s appointed partners, merchants, or prize sponsors solely for the purpose of prize fulfilment, including the issuance of dining or experience vouchers, attraction passes, or physical souvenir sets.
All personal data collected will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
Each prize may be subject to specific terms and conditions set by the respective partner, merchant, or sponsor, including validity or expiry dates stated on the voucher, pass, or redemption notice. Winners are responsible for redeeming or utilizing their prizes within the stated period.
If a prize is not claimed, redeemed, or delivered successfully due to incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the winner, or if the winner fails to respond within the stipulated timeframe, the prize shall be deemed forfeited, and no replacement or compensation will be provided.
ANTI-SCAM NOTIFICATION
The Organizer is committed to ensuring a fair and secure Contest experience for all Participants. We maintain a strict anti-scam policy and want to make it clear that we will never request or collect any sensitive financial information, including bank account details, credit card numbers, OTP, or any other personal financial data, from Participants. If you encounter any communication or requests from sources claiming to be affiliated with our Contest and asking for such information, please consider it a scam and report it to us via the appointed Secretariat email (jnto-my@clozette.co) immediately. We will never initiate contact with you to request such information, and we strongly advise you to exercise caution and not share any sensitive financial data with anyone claiming to represent our Contest. Your safety and privacy are of utmost importance to us.
