Reopening of “Asahi no Ma”
“Asahi no Ma”, located within the main building at the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace, has been closed for the restoration of the ceiling painting and interiors since February, 2017. It will be open to the general public starting on April 2, 2019. Enjoy the ceiling painting, restored of its bright colors, as well as the gold leafed decorations. (“Asahi no Ma” is available for viewing for those going to the main building of the State Guest House, Akasaka Palace.)
