A seemingly hidden sushi secret

Ginza Sushi Aoki

Follow the hidden entrance (keep your eyes open for the lantern on the street) and the dim stairwell to enter into a simple and elegant dining room. Behind the counter stands Toshikatsu Aoki and his acolytes, preparing your meal. Chef Aoki took over from his father, Yoshi Aoki, after completing his apprenticeship. Aoki wants this to be the purest distillation of the craft of sushi: you, the chefs, the fish.

The chefs prepare "omakase style" the best seasonal fish they can find for the diners. It is an amazing experience to be led through a journey of sushi discovery—bonito with fresh chives, rich and creamy sea urchin, and sweet prawns "aburi-style" (broiled with a blow torch). Sushi Ginza Aoki is the perfect place to enjoy sushi at its best.
