For sightseeing in Asakusa, first head to the large gate known as Kaminarimon. You simply cannot miss its iconic large red lantern painted with the characters 雷門, “Kaminarimon” (Thunder Gate). After passing through this great photo spot, you can enjoy shopping along Nakamise-dori, a shopping street with a history of over 100 years. Also nearby is a more modern sight: Tokyo Skytree, standing tall at an impressive 634 meters. On clear days, you can see Mt. Fuji beyond the panoramic view of the city from the observation deck near the top of the tower. From sunset views to the glittering nightscape, you can watch the changing moods of Tokyo. Akihabara is a paradise for otaku (fan) culture, with shops such as the Akihabara Radiokaikan, packed with figurines and anime-related goods. The Akihabara Gachapon Hall is a capsule toy specialty store where you can buy cute and quirky capsule toys with small change.
Akihabara has long been a center for the latest electronic appliances, with a range of large retailers selling electrical appliances that can also be used overseas. Cosmetics and miscellaneous goods are also available at some stores.

Roppongi is home to many large commercial complexes, some with stores, art galleries, movie theaters and restaurants. At the Tokyo City View observatory in Roppongi Hills, you can get a closer view of the Tokyo cityscape. Nearby, Tokyo Midtown is a stylish shopping area, with cafes, restaurants, and museums. On top of popular fashion brands, the complex has shops selling Japanese goods and crafts that make for perfect souvenirs.

Not far from Roppongi, there is another prayer space at Tower Plaza Mori JP Tower 4F within Azabudai Hills; a complex which has a range of restaurants, shops, and attractions.

If you take a picture of yourself at the corner of the glass-enclosed observatory, it looks like you’re standing in the open air without railings!
