This year at "The Essence of Luxury Travel", a Travel Business Event hosted by Traveller Made in Marbella Spain, Japan was for the first time chosen as the “Most Desired Preferred Destination”
On 25th of March 2019, the Traveller Made Award Ceremony took place during the Gala Dinner at the Essence of Luxury Travel show in Marbella, Spain.
Traveller Made is a network of luxury travel designers many based in the European regions, hosts the Travel Business event "The Essence of Luxury Travel". Every year, members such as hotels, Government Tourism organizations and DMC's (Travel agencies handling travel arrangement at travel destinations)" are commended with many Travel awards. This year for the "Most Desired Preferred Destination" award, Japan was chosen among from the fellow nominee, New Zealand and Australia.
Traveller Made Awards are chosen with Traveller Made member votes. Traveller Made spokesperson has commented Japan success as result of "the growing inte rests of Japan as a luxury destination in Europe".
