Our group ready to go snowmobilingThere was lots of snow so about half of the Fam participants skied and then all of us went snowmobiling. The skiers said the mountain was massive and they enjoyed it very much. The lifts and equipment are good. There are several other ski areas close and you are able to use the same lift ticket for them all. And, of course, we all enjoyed our snowmobiling. We went snowmobiling on a golf course, so I could see that it would be a beautiful destination in the summer also.
The group after skiing As much as I enjoyed the North Island, I probably wouldn't lead a trip there as it would take at least 4 days to appreciate it. Our last night was spent in Toyko at the Narita Tokyu Hotel. It is a hotel located near the airport. It is an excellent hotel with all of the amenities including lovely baths. By Clair N.
