The Archaeological Institute of Kashihara holds a number of important treasures from excavations throughout Nara Prefecture . With exhibits ranging from the Late Stone Age (approx. 40,000 B.C.–10,000 B.C.) to the Muromachi period (1336-1573), visit this museum for a comprehensive overview of Japan's archaeological history within a local context.

The most convenient way to reach the museum is by train.
