NYK CRUISES Co., Ltd. ASUKA CRUISE offers a maritime experience that highlights Japanese culture and traditional hospitality. The fleet features two ships, ASUKA Ⅱ and ASUKA Ⅲ. Operating under the brand concept of “delivering authentic encounters and inspiration,” ASUKA CRUISE offers a variety of domestic and international cruises, with a focus on personalized guest experiences.

ASUKA Ⅲ

ASUKA Ⅲ is designed around the concept of “a journey that expands to suit the customer’s preferences.” The ship includes guest rooms with private ocean-side balconies, six restaurants, and interior spaces featuring art and craftworks by Japanese artists. The onboard dress code is “Elegant Casual.” ASUKA III offers a wide range of itineraries, from 2-night, 3-day cruises to cruises around Japan, as well as international cruises. During the voyage, guests can take part in learning and wellness programs and attend live music performances held throughout the ship.

Royal Penthouse

The ASUKA Ⅲ features two exclusive suites that offer penthouse concierge services, special inclusive benefits, and priority for all onboard reservations. The living rooms in these accommodations feature artworks by Reiji Hiramatsu.

Midship Suite

The Midship Suite features separate living rooms and bedrooms. The design combines contemporary interiors with traditional Japanese materials. Of the 54 Midship Suites on ASUKA III, 47 are themed after specific prefectures, allowing guests to enjoy the diverse cultures and local products of those regions and creating opportunities to discover and rediscover the charms of each area.

The balcony guest rooms feature a modern, residential-style design with abundant natural light.

Four Seasons Dining Room

Four Seasons Dining Room is an all-day dining restaurant that offers Western cuisine developed in Japan. It features set menus and à la carte dishes with seasonal ingredients. The menu features a variety of dishes unique to Japanese cruise ships, including hamburg steak, traditional Western-style meals, and standard Japanese cuisine.

Noblesse

Noblesse is a French restaurant offering full-course and à la carte dishes that blend modern techniques with traditional culinary styles. The restaurant also provides a dedicated wine table for food and wine pairings.

ASUKA Plaza

ASUKA Plaza is ASUKA III's three-story main atrium and the centerpiece of the ship. It features a traditional "Makie" lacquer artwork by Kazumi Murose, a recognized Living National Treasure in Japan. The artwork is about nine meters tall and three meters wide.

Grand Spa

The Grand Spa is a bath facility with ocean views located at the bow of the ASUKA Ⅲ. The public bath offers views of the ship's course, while the open-air bath provides views of the changing ocean. An observation sauna is also available on-site.

ASUKA Ⅱ

ASUKA Ⅱ offers a wide variety of cruise experiences. Options range from one-night getaways and two-night cruises featuring special shows and gourmet dining to family-friendly summer festival cruises and global voyages. The ship features extensive onboard facilities, fine dining, and structured programs. ASUKA II provides professional service to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.

The Royal Suite on Deck 10 of the ASUKA Ⅱ offers 88 square meters of space alongside a private balcony. The layout features a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom to ensure a comfortable stay.

W Japanese-Western Style Suite

This Japanese-modern suite combines traditional Japanese design elements with Western-style amenities. The sleeping area features tatami flooring and low decor, while the living area includes a full-size sofa. The suite also features a highly functional bathroom.

D Balcony

D Balcony type rooms, located on Deck 9, offer private views from their balconies.

These rooms feature comfortable beds and bathrooms with bathtubs.

Main Dining Venues

Four Seasons Dining Room

Four Seasons Dining Room is the main dining venue on the ASUKA Ⅱ and features a spacious dining area. Guests can enjoy Western-style courses for dinner and Japanese cuisine for breakfast and lunch.

Premier Dining The Veil

Premier Dining The Veil is a dining venue exclusively available for guests staying in S Royal Suites, W Japanese-Western Suites, and A ASUKA Suites. The restaurant includes two-person tables and larger open seating areas. It has an open seating system, allowing guests to dine at any time during service hours.

Galaxy Lounge

During the evening, the Galaxy Lounge presents a range of onboard entertainment, including original production shows performed exclusively on board ASUKA Ⅱ and guest performances.

Grand Spa

The Grand Spa is a bath facility with ocean views located on the top deck of the ASUKA Ⅱ. The facility includes an open-air bath, an indoor bath, a jet bath, a cold bath, a dry sauna, and a steam sauna.
