Seibuen Amusement Park

Intro

Seibuen Amusement Park is located in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture and easily accessible from central Tokyo. As part of its 70th anniversary celebration, it has recently undergone a massive renovation and has reopened as a retro-themed attraction inspired by 1960s Tokyo. The concept is "a world enveloped in warmth and happiness". The transformed park recreates Showa era townscape, a throwback to a time of no cell phones and rapid economic growth in Japan.

Shopping street (Yuuhino-oka Syoutengai)

The Seibuen Amusement Park has been replicated on the lines of the Showa Era township. One of the main attractions of this park is the shopping street. Here one can find shops, restaurants, photo booths, friends crew, shops selling memorabilia and other trinkets neatly lined on both side of the street. Watch Chee & Chaa San take a tour of this beautiful amusement park and enjoying everything that it has to offer.

Attractions

The chief attractions at the Seibuen Amusement Park is the Gyro Tower (Fujimi Tenboutou), the Octopus Adventure, the Merry-go-round and the large Ferris wheel (Dai Kanransya). From the Gyro Tower (Fujimi Tenboutou) one can get an uninterrupted 360-degree view of Mt. Fuji, the Tama Lake, the city and the park below.

Godzilla The Ride

Godzilla The Ride is the world’s first ever permanent large ride attractions. It is one of the most thrilling experiences of the park and one almost gets a realistic feeling of the battle scenes between Godzilla and the three headed monster King Ghidorah.
