A thrilling experience on one of the world's longest suspension bridges
Kobe Tourism Bureau
Do you feel like this photo was taken by a drone or from a helicopter? Actually, it was neither. It was taken from the top of a 300-meter-tall bridge! Located in Kobe City in the Kansai region of Japan, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is known as one of the world’s longest suspension bridges and offers a hands-on activity called Bridge World. In this tour, you can learn about the structure and architecture of the bridge and even walk through a pass beneath it that is generally inaccessible. The stunning open view from the top of a 300-meter-tall tower is a must-see! Be sure to stop by the next time you’re in Kobe for a fascinating sightseeing experience.
