Drive a buggy around World Heritage sites and historical spots in Ikaruga
Nara Ikaruga Tourism Waikaru
Want to feel nostalgic? How about driving around Ikaruga, which has a history of about 1,400 years? This is a tour where you can visit historical spots in Ikaruga, such as Horyu-ji Temple, which is the first World Heritage Site in Japan, and Horin-ji Temple, which is related to Prince Shotoku. This is a mobile activity where you can experience the four seasons, such as cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves and cosmos flowers in autumn, all while feeling the breeze as you ride in a colorful mini buggy.
The shrines and temples and the uniqueness of the mini buggy are the main attractions. You can enjoy taking photos at various locations and visit temples (separate admission fee required).
Make sure to bring your international driver's license and your passport with you. The buggies are single-seaters and only rented out those with a license. Tours are held rain or shine.
