Hot springs with seasonal scenery
Toyako Onsen Tourist Association
Enjoy the changing of the leaves and the incredible scenery in the fall right by Lake Toya, and submerge yourself in the warm waters of Toyako Onsen.
Lake Toya is a lake in west Hokkaido with natural hot springs. There are various seasonal attractions held near the hot springs throughout the year. A fireworks display is held every night from late April to the end of October at Toyako Onsen, with fireworks launched from and around the lake. Also, the town uses around 400,000 LEDs to make a colorful tunnel of lights from November to late April.
There are two footbaths and ten hand baths in the hot spring resort area, so visitors can soak in the warm waters of Lake Toya, one of Hokkaido's most famous hot springs, while enjoying the spectacular seasonal views from the shores.
