DAY 5: Geibikei Gorge

 

Geibikei Gorge is a scenic gorge located in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The gorge is formed by the Satetsu River, which flows between towering cliffs that are over 50 meters high. The area is known for its natural beauty, with stunning rock formations, clear blue water, and verdant forests. Visitors can take a leisurely boat ride along the river to enjoy the scenery, accompanied by a guide who shares local legends and history. One of the most famous attractions in Geibikei Gorge is the "Nanatsubashi" or "Seven-arched Bridge," which was built over 800 years ago and is considered a symbol of the gorge. This is the largest outlet mall in Tohoku, located between Sendai Airport and Matsushima, one of the three most scenic spots in Japan. DAY 6: Harajuku

 

Harajuku is a vibrant and fashionable district located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The area is known for its trendy fashion boutiques, street fashion, and unique youth culture. One of the most famous attractions in Harajuku is Takeshita Street, a bustling pedestrian street lined with trendy shops, cafes, and restaurants. The street is popular among young people and tourists and offers a unique and colorful shopping experience. Harajuku is also known for its unique and creative street fashion, which includes various styles such as Lolita, Gothic, and Cosplay. Many visitors come to Harajuku to see the street fashion and take photos of the stylish and colorful outfits.

 

 

 

SHIBUYA SKY

 

Shibuya Sky is an observation deck located on the top floors of the Shibuya Scramble Square building in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. 
The Shibuya Scramble Square building itself is a modern and impressive structure, standing at 230 meters tall with 47 floors. The observation deck, located on the top three floors of the building, is known for its stunning panoramic views of the surrounding city, including famous landmarks such as Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji in the distance.

 

 

 

 

MIYASHITA PARK

 

MIYASHITA PARK is a newly renovated (as of 2020) urban park located in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The park is situated on the site of a former shopping center and has been transformed into a modern and vibrant green space, offering a variety of activities and attractions. The park features a skateboarding park, a rock-climbing wall, a rooftop terrace, and a variety of sports facilities, making it a popular destination for active and outdoor enthusiasts. There are also plenty of benches and picnic areas for those who prefer a more relaxed experience. In addition to its recreational offerings, MIYASHITA PARK is home to a variety of shops and restaurants, ranging from local artisanal vendors to international brands.

 

 

 

DAY 7: Asakusa Nakamise Street

 

Nakamise-dori, also known as Nakamise Shopping Street, is a popular shopping street located in the historic Asakusa district of Tokyo, Japan. The street is lined with traditional Japanese-style shops selling a wide variety of souvenirs, snacks, and traditional crafts. Nakamise-dori stretches from the Kaminarimon Gate to the Hozomon Gate of the Sensoji Temple, one of the oldest and most famous Buddhist temples in Tokyo. The street is often crowded with tourists and locals, creating a lively and bustling atmosphere.

 

 

 

RED°TOKYO TOWER

 

Japan's largest eSports park is inside Tokyo Tower, with several VR and high-tech attractions located on the first and third to fifth floors of the popular landmark. The entire 3rd floor is a lounge decked out with a huge 15m wide LED screen, where you can enjoy projection mapping shows. Here you can find everything from nostalgic games like Pacman, to new-age VR games like Beat Saber and KAT Walk. You can also take a break from all the modern tech as you like with a visit to their gashapon machine (capsule toy dispenser) section.

 

 

Avatar Robot Café 

 

Avatar Robot Cafe is a futuristic cafe located in Tokyo, Japan, that offers a unique and innovative experience for visitors. The cafe is known for its use of cutting-edge avatar robots, which are designed to look and move just like their human operators.
At the Avatar Robot Cafe, visitors can order drinks and snacks from a menu of innovative and futuristic items. Those who reserve for the OriHime Seat can get their orders are taken and served by the avatar robots.
