A botanical wonderland and picnic spot in northeast Osaka City

Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park is arguably the best park to visit in the city when it comes to size and plant variety. The expansive park grounds are perfect for picnics, sports and exploring.

How to Get There

You can reach the park by train.

From Umeda Station, take the Midosuji subway line three stops to Shinsaibashi Station, then transfer to the Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line and ride an additional eleven stops. Get off at Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Station, which exits directly into the park.

Planning your trip

Consider devoting an entire morning or afternoon to the park, since the trip will likely take around three hours when factoring in travel time. The return train stops near many Osaka sights, including Osaka Castle at Morinomiya Station and Shinsaibashi at Shinsaibashi Station.
