As a luxury resort in the heart of Tokyo, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo has also been an important location for fireflies viewing since 1954. Hotel dedicated to protecting the garden ecosystem, approximately 500 fireflies take flight every evening during the peak season. During this period, the hotel hosts our annual Firefly Evening Dinner Buffet with a selection of modern and traditional dishes inspired by the early summer season. This year we celebrate 70 years of the fireflies! The garden is open to guests staying at the hotel or visiting hotel’s restaurants or events.
