Daisen Hiruzen Parkway Scenic Drive

A scenic drive from Hiruzen through Daisen

This driving route is a part of the Daisen Parkway, which passes through a long stretch of Daisen-Oki National Park. It starts in the Hiruzen area and continues through Daisen, Yonago and Sakai-Minato, ending up at the coastal town of Mihonoseki.

This route shows you the beauty of Mount Daisen (1,729 m) from various perspectives and also offers scenic views sweeping across the grassy meadows of the Hiruzen Highland.

If you continue all the way to Mihonoseki, you'll have the chance to drive along the coast. The landscape changes dramatically from season to season, with verdant greens on show in early summer and vivid reds, golds and ambers brightening the landscape in fall.
