Cautions for climbing Mount Fuji: The number of climbers this season is expected to be higher than usual. Be sure to book accommodation at a mountain lodge and prepare your equipment and climbing plan well in advance. Attempting to climb the mountain in one day, and “bullet climbing”—the practice of climbing through the night without rest—are extremely dangerous. Please read the information below before you go:
