In the Fujino region, there's a long-standing tradition among many local farmers of planting yuzu in fallow fields.
Set against the backdrop of a 150-year-old traditional farmhouse, our retreat takes you to the steep slope behind the house, where a yuzu orchard stretches out.
Harvesting the aromatic "green yuzu" that's not fully ripe in this orchard, you'll use the green yuzu and locally grown organic chili peppers to craft your very own original yuzu pepper.
For lunch, participants and staff will come together to enjoy making traditional handmade udon.
What to Bring:
Comfortable and attire that can get dirty (long-sleeved clothing, longpants, rubber boots or hiking shoes), your own bag for picking yuzu, apron.
