Gifu Akari Monogatari 2026, a light-up event unique to Gifu City featuring items designated as traditional Japanese handicrafts, such as Gifu wagasa (Japanese umbrellas) and Gifu chochin (paper lanterns), will be held next January.
This marks the event's 6th year, with the displays updated and improved annually. This year will once again featuring handheld lanterns and projection mapping. More details can be found on Gifu City's official website.
