In addition hosting Benten Pond and wide variety of seasonal flowers, Mobara Park is famed for being one of Chiba prefecture's top cherry blossom destintations.
The red bridge that crosses the lake is a stunning sight in the pink bloom of spring. The cherry blossom trees around the pond are being illuminated from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM from Tuesday, March 18 to Sunday, April 13.
The park's annual Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30.
