From July to October, the lake’s surface turns into a crystal-clear mirror, reflecting the surrounding peaks in breathtaking detail. As the snow melts in early July, lush greenery begins to emerge - signaling the start of the summer hiking season in Toyama. Getting there: Take the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route from either Tateyama Station or Ogizawa Station to Murodo Station.
