On April 30, 2023, WestJet will be making its first foray into Asia with the launch of its new 2023 summer route from YYC Calgary International Airport to NRT Narita International Airport aboard their 787 Dreamliner. WestJet will be the only airline providing transpacific service to Asia directly from Alberta.
