From October 19th onward, the Shin-hotaka Ropeway, where you can enjoy adventurous Japanese scenery located in Japan Alps will be reopened!
Located about an hour and forty minutes' bus ride from JR Takayama Station, the Shin-Hotaka ropeway offers spectacular views all year round!
First-in-Japan double-decker gondolas will take you 2,200 meters above sea level. Enjoy the majestic vista of Japan's Northern Alps (Hida Mountain Range).
Also, climbers can use the ropeway to begin their trek.
