Witness Capybaras Warming Up at Nagasaki Bio Park♨️

These are some of the scenes that remind us: winter is here!
Nagasaki Bio Park is a zoo located in the Saikai region of Nagasaki. This park is a great place for kids and adults, with petting zoos, the ever popular capybara onsen exhibit, and loads of exotic creatures.♨️

Originally from warm South America, capybaras are skilled swimmers that love baths. Taking their leisurely baths, or sometimes just frolicking around in the water, each time you see them is its own slightly different "special pose" exhibition.

In Japan, "Winter Solstice!" is commonly associated with citrus baths, but at Nagasaki's Bio Park, they think of capybara pomelo baths! 🍊
The large pomelo fruits float in the bath and release a very pleasant aroma. The capybaras keep themselves of sound health too, by passing their time in this revitalizing water.
