Embark on a unique journey with The Yamabushido Three Peaks Reset

Embark on a unique journey with The Yamabushido Three Peaks Reset Training!
Beginning with an orientation in a Zen temple, your bilingual Sendatsu yamabushi guide will lead you into the wilderness of the three Dewa Sanzan peaks.

Unlike the traditional yamabushi shugyo training which is conducted in silence, the yamabushi sendatsu will stop periodically to explain aspects of the history and current practices on the mountains, and participants are invited to ask their yamabushi sendatsu any questions they may have at any time along the way, perfect for first-timers.

The Program unfolds over seven days, with the initial day spent disconnecting in a Zen monastery, immersing yourself in Zen Buddhist practices. Days two to seven are dedicated to a guided hike led by the yamabushi on the three Dewa Sanzan Mountains. The journey commences on Mt. Haguro, the traditional starting point, representing the present. Day three involves a pilgrimage and stay on Mt. Gassan, the tallest peak symbolizing the afterlife or the past. On Day four, you'll explore Mt. Yudono, representing rebirth and the future.

The week concludes with two days of self-reflection and reconnection to daily life through yamabushi-based activities back on Mt. Haguro. This program offers a chance to experience something truly extraordinary against the backdrop of sacred sites, making it an unparalleled opportunity for personal growth and exploration.
