Shuttle Through Striking Rock Formations in Pristine Waters

Take a kayak journey and immerse yourself in the enchanting scenery of the Uradome Coast

Set between magnificent mountains and the boundless ocean, Tottori Prefecture and the San’in Kaigan National Park are sure to capture your heart with their breathtaking natural vistas. For the outdoor enthusiast, the park also offers incredible opportunities for active adventures in nature.

Hop on a shuttle bus from Iwami Station and you will shortly arrive at the otherworldly Uradome Coast. Rent a kayak at the neighboring Nagisa Exchange Center and venture out to sea in one of these fun-to-ride boats. If you prefer to take it slow and easy as you appreciate some of the clearest water in Honshu, opt for the Clear Kayak option. These transparent-bottomed vessels let you admire marine life in motion in the crystal-clear, cobalt blue ocean beneath your boat. Then paddle further out and through the caves to take a closer look at the majestic rock formations on the azure sea―it’s a true marine adventure that will leave you breathless.

Access: From Tokyo Haneda Airport, fly to Tottori Airport (about one hour 20 minutes), then take a taxi from the airport to the Center (about 20 minutes).
