Besides learning about the local food culture, you can also have the thrill of knowing the fresh bounty picked out at the market will be served to you as a special course dinner the same evening.

After an afternoon of sightseeing, rejoin the chef at A_RESTAURANT, where you will enjoy an innovative omakase dinner. From hassun, a dish that brings together ingredients from the seas and mountains, to top-quality wagyu beef, beautifully presented sushi, and fresh fruit desserts created by the pâtissier, each dish is created to highlight the flavors of the season.

Sip on carefully selected sake and world-class dry gin made in Kanazawa as you watch the chefs put the finishing touches on the dishes before your very eyes. Even the tableware is made locally, using a fusion of traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology.

How to get there

 

From Tokyo Station, take the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Kanazawa Station (about 2 hours and 30 minutes). Switch to the Hokuriku railway bus and ride to the Musashigatsuji Omicho Market bus stop (approx. 10 minutes).
