Recommended season

DAY 1

Miyazaki is filled with a tropical atmosphere. First, take a 10-minute JR train from Miyazaki Airport to Miyazaki Sta., and then transfer to a 25-minute bus to the Phoenix Seagaia Resort. It is a high-grade resort facility surrounded by black pine forests stretching about 11km from north to south, with a wide range of facilities including hotels, hot springs, and golf courses. After checking in at the hotel, enjoy the activities that the resort offers, such as horseback riding and Segway.

DAY 2

On the second day, go sightseeing in Miyazaki. First, you will go to Aoshima. Aoshima is a popular tourist spot on the Nichinan Coast, which lies off the arc-shaped Aoshima Coast. The island is dotted with spots where you can enjoy walking, such as Aoshima-jinja Shrine, which is visited by many couples from all over Japan, and the Miyokoh Botanic Garden where you can enjoy watching various subtropical plants. For lunch, try "Chicken Nanban", an original chicken dish in Miyazaki Prefecture. In the afternoon, visit Miyazaki-jingu Shrine, whose temple and other structures are known as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan.

DAY 3

On the third day, take an express bus from Miyazaki to Kagoshima Airport (about 2 hours and 10 minutes), and then take a taxi to “Tenku no Mori”, a resort facility located on a vast site of 180,000 tsubo (about 6,405,000 sqft), where you will spend the night. After checking in and dropping off your luggage, take a scenic flight in a chartered plane! Immerse yourself in the gorgeous scenery.

DAY 4

On the fourth day, you will go sightseeing in Kagoshima. In the morning, you will go on a dolphin watching cruise in Kinko Bay, a spectacular spot where Sakurajima spreads out in front of you. You can watch the wild Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin swimming freely on a chartered cruise ship. After that, you can experience the world of a sushi chef in Kagoshima City. After watching a fish dismemberment demonstration, you will be able to make sushi while listening to the craftsman's detailed explanation. The trip concludes with a visit to Sengan-en, one of Japan's most famous gardens in Kagoshima.

DAY 5

After checking out, you will take a taxi to Kagoshima Airport. After that, transfer to a highway bus for about an hour to Hitoyoshi.
