Story Awesome summer fireworks display at Huis Ten Bosch By JNTO on 01 June 2017

Natsu Ichiban Fireworks Festival

Natsu Ichiban Fireworks Festival

Held at Huis Ten Bosch theme park, "Natsu Ichiban Fireworks Festival" is one of the biggest fireworks events in Kyushu, with 18,000 launches. It is a great, spectacular event having quite unique features such as artistically designed fireworks and a contest where fireworks masters from overseas compete for the first-place prize.
Designed fireworks are produced by world-renowned fashion designer Junko Koshino. The world created by colorful fireworks and great music surely deserves the name of "Art." The combination of fantastic Opera music and illumination enhances the magnificent night view. On the day of the event, the overseas representatives qualifier for the 9th "World Fireworks Masters' Competition" is held, in which fireworks masters from overseas compete with each other to reach the finals. From colorful fan shaped fireworks to consecutive fireworks showing incredible teamwork, let's enjoy the unique pyrotechnic art of each team!
At a fireworks display, getting a space for viewing is one of the important aspects to enjoy the event. There are areas you can reserve in advance and a free-seating zone. Because the free-seating area may become crowded from around 3 pm, it is advisable to get there well in advance. Huis Ten Bosch has fireworks related events all year around. Check it out!
