Story Black Mont Blanc, Kyushu's most loved ice cream! by JNTO on 03 July 2017

Black Mont Blanc ice cream

Black Mont Blanc that has a lottery on the stick

Every single person in Kyushu knows this ice cream. First produced about 50 years ago, "Black Mont Blanc" was born in a confectionery maker in Saga Prefecture, "Takeshita Seika", which has more than 100 years of history. With an original technique by which you can enjoy the crunchiness wherever you bite and a process of delivery whereby products are delivered within three days from production in order not to lose the texture, it has gained many fans people and can boast of the permanent status of a long-running item.
Recently the ice cream maker has started a collaboration business with a well-known Ramen shop chain, "IPPUDO" in Fukuoka. Only those who eat a bowl of ramen at IPPUDO will have the right to purchase a limited edition of Black Mont Blanc that has a lottery on the stick. Those who win in the lottery can exchange the winning stick for a ramen or other dish. Enjoy the rich Kyushu taste with a combination of Hakata tonkotsu ramen and Black Mont Blanc.
