Sabani Boat Sailing
Traditional sailing experience on the wooden boats
Travel through the beautiful Yanbaru waters on the Sabani, a non-motorized, traditional Okinawan wooden boat. Powered by the sails and paddles, the trip on the waters will be a calming experience as you take in the incredible sceneries of northern Okinawa, Shioya Wan bay, and the west coast of Ogimi Village. The captain will operate your ride, but you can also try and row the boat yourself. Talk to the captain to learn more about their building process and how they were used back in the day.
