Explore Okinawan culture at Asoviva Resort, a musical instrument factory in Yomitan Village, near Naha. The resort specializes in Okinawa sanshin, a string instrument similar to a banjo. A 70-minute lesson will teach you the basics and introduce you to traditional Okinawan folk songs—or pop classics if you prefer. Accomplished musicians and absolute beginners alike are welcomed to take part.
