Spring in Asakusa

Around 510 cherry trees bloom in the park from mid-March to early April. The blossoms provide a stunning backdrop to the nearby Tokyo Skytree . After dark, the tunnel of cherry blossoms is lit up. Join the locals in the revelry of hanami.

For an extra special experience, book a cruise on a yakatabune pleasure boat to get a perfect view of the flowering trees from the water.
