How to Get There
The park runs along both sides of the Sumida River.
Sumida Park's entrance is a five-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Ginza, Asakusa, and Tobu Isezaki Lines.

Spring in Asakusa
Between late March and early April, over 600 cherry trees bloom in the park. The blossoms provide a stunning backdrop to the nearby Tokyo Skytree . After dark, the tunnel of cherry blossoms is lit up. Join the locals in the revelry of hanami.
For an extra special experience, book a cruise on a yakatabune pleasure boat to get a perfect view of the flowering trees from the water. Several companies offer this service. Check with Amitatsu or Harumiya for more information.
